I left a space in between the words “daniel” and “@aplusplus.co.uk” because spammers use special automated techniques to search websites and pickup any email addresses they find, to add to their huge list of email addresses. They then either use these to send unsolicited mail to, or sell the lists of addresses to other evil people, who then send spam themselves. So, by separating the words, the bots will (hopefully) not pick up my email, and I am safe from any “Get A Larger Pen!s” or “Confirm Bank Details” rubbish that one is forced to view whilst perusing one’s inbox.
